Kevin first became President of the Local back in 2007. Since then he has been elected into office for two more consecutive terms. Prior to that he held the position of Vice President from 2001 to 2007. Kevin began his career on the Space Coast back in August of 1987 when he was hired by Pan Am World Services to provide Railroad support at Cape Canaveral Air Station and the Titan Launch program. Kevin spent the better part of the next 20 years working in multiple crafts on Cape Canaveral Air Station Launch Facilities with contractors such as Johnson Controls, Sverdrup Technologies and Space Coast Launch Services. During his career he has served in multiple positions with respects to Labor such as Co-Chair of NASA’s Kennedy Labor Management Relations Council (KLMRC), Council Member of Florida’s Labor Management Conference (FLMC) and served on the Brevard Workforce Development Board.
Kevin has been a faithful and active member of the TWU and held various positions within the Local at the shop level. As President he has negotiated over 50 Collective Bargaining Agreements over the years and currently administers 23 separate CBA’s on the East Coast of the U.S. He oversees contracts governed under the National Labor Relations Act, Railway Labor Act and the Public Employees Relations Commission.
As the President of the Local his current duties range from Negotiating Contracts, Grievance and Dispute Resolution up to and including Arbitration and Federal Mediation and Organizing new groups. He is currently an active lobbyist for the AFL-CIO at both the State and Federal level.
Kevin currently serves on the International Executive Council and was brought onto the Air Division Staff as an International Representative in 2017 and oversees more than 45 Collective Bargaining Agreements spread between TWU Local's 525, 526, 527 and 504.
Kevin and is wife Heather live in Merritt Island and are the parents to 5 children.
